Richard Gee, Jr. With 20+ years experience specializing in business to business strategy and communication, Richard founded Gee Creative in 1996 and serves as creative director and chief strategist. Recognized in the 2005 class of 40 Under 40 local business leaders by The Charleston Regional Business Journal, Richard holds degrees from Baylor University and Atlanta’s Portfolio Center. He is a founding member of Lowcountry Local First and active member of American Advertising Federation of Charleston and AIGA, the American Institute of Graphic Arts as well as an Advisory Board Member for the Interactive Design Program at Art Institute of Charleston.
Away from work, when he and his wife are not shuttling kids (ages 14, 13 and 11) to sports or music practice, Richard enjoys running, boating and travel.
Ashley Foote. A keen eye and insatiable appetite for beautiful design led Ashley to the creative field where she wields a mouse, Xacto and CSS (often simultaneously) with impressive precision. With a degree from Auburn University (War Eagle!) and extensive experience gained during her time at Greenville’s Bounce Agency, Ashley delivers a fresh perspective to both client relationships and each of her projects. Gee Creative’s resident photographer, Ashley is equally comfortable behind the camera as she is rocking out a complicated photo retouch, website solution or tasty packaging design.
After hours, she and her husband enjoy Charleston’s thriving food and live music scene.
Buster. Spunky, inquisitive and ever-loyal, Buster is an incurable extrovert making him often the first to greet guests at the studio. Convinced he is a world-class ballerino masquerading as a spirited Boston Terrier, Buster possesses the uncanny ability to walk upright on his hind legs, especially if there's a belly rub or treat involved. Unfortunately, born without opposable thumbs, Buster’s questionable craftsmanship has resulted in our forbidding him from future projects involving cutting instruments. However, through online classes and an extensive audiobooks library, he's working tirelessly to enhance his skillset which currently includes sniffing, sleeping, snoring, running in circles and frequent, rank flatulence.
